The company has formed partnerships with the Ontario Hospitals Association (OHA) and the Canadian Healthcare Association (CHA) to provide Canadian healthcare professionals and organizations with accredited Lean healthcare training programs.

In April 2010, the Leading Edge Group in conjunction with publishers Productivity Press, launched a Lean healthcare publication - Applying Lean in Healthcare: A Collection of International Case Studies. The publication draws on the experiences of healthcare staff as they implement Lean initiatives in their organizations, the tools and techniques used and the challenges they faced.

In September 2011, the company launched an online networking site, Lean Healthcare Connect, to enable healthcare professional to share their experiences; offer and request advice on Lean initivatives; and discuss best practice with a comunity of international healthcare workers. Commencing October 22, 2011 a blended Lean Healthcare Black Belt program will be held at the Leading Edge group office in Toronto. Certified by the OHA, the program is delivered by expert instructors and offers participants the opportunity to gain a recognized qualification.
