Interior Health has put a number of staff through the Lean Healthcare Green Belt program. Our participants have found the content to be relevant to the healthcare environment, and the online component allows our staff to become certified on their own timelines. Lean is not something you can learn from a book, and this program’s project-based curriculum allows participants to apply the theory to relevant projects within their portfolio immediately.
As Lean ‘students’, our schedules and priorities change daily and The Leading Edge Group’s flexibility in deadlines and delivery has been crucial to our continued involvement in this learning opportunity. This Lean Healthcare Green Belt program is an excellent start to any Lean journey.
